The aviation industry has to change.

We are working on new materials to change the environmental impact of the aircraft industry

We are investing 1 mio. € in new projects to become a clean & green supplier.

Carola Keller – Owner in 4th generation

“We decided to invest 1 million euros into our sustainability over the next three years. It’s a big deal for us. This isn’t just a business move; it’s personal. Our family business has been around since 1938, and we’ve always believed in doing more than just making a profit. The idea of a circular economy is a bit intimidating, but it’s time for action.

This investment is our way of stepping up, even if we’re stepping into the unknown. We’re not pretending to have all the answers, but we’re determined to find them along the way. I really hope this step encourages others to think about what they can do, too.
After all, we’re all in this together.”

Our ambitions for the future:

clean & green

zero emission cabin

Zero emission cabin by 2035+
Together with the industry.

circular production

Minimazing waste by recycling
and reusing cabin plastics.

Sustainable Networking

Zero emission cabin by 2035+
Together with the industry.

We focus on recycling

new & innovative
At Krüger Aviation, we follow the vision of sustainably recycling waste in the aviation industry. To this end, we collect, shred and recycle our thermoforming waste in order to return it to the production cycle. Our aim is to conserve resources and, in the long term to create a completely closed-loop economy.

Sustainable material

recycled polycarbonate
Together with Green Mobility Interior (GMI), we at Krüger Aviation have developed an developed an innovative material: “KRC PC100”. This material consists of of pure, recycled polycarbonate and sets new standards in the sustainability in the sustainability of aviation. KRC PC100 was presented for the first time at presented at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2024 in Hamburg. With this development demonstrates our commitment to resource-saving solutions and solutions and offer the industry an environmentally friendly alternative for aircraft interiors.

We are proud sponsors of the

Crystal Cabin Award

A new award for the net-zero cabin

What’s a Crystal Cabin Award?
“Since its inception, the Crystal Cabin Award has championed industry innovation and honoured novel approaches to improve the experience of air passengers and maximise benefits for operators. Today, sustainability has become a driving force of innovation, including in the aircraft cabin. But reducing its environmental impact also means new approaches to manufacturing that open a path to reducing waste and emissions.

The Crystal Cabin Awards is helping to write this new chapter with a trophy that exemplifies this fresh approach. Developed by Krüger Aviation and Institut für Polymer- und Produktionstechnologien (IPT), the new trophy awarded for the first time in 2023 is made by IPT using a sustainable organic polymer developed especially for the trophy.
